I'd love to have them as neighbors that would be awesome, I definitely wouldn't be scared of them morticia is beautiful. Keeping to the basement playing with his octopus 😮😂. In Spanish the series is called Los Locos Addams (The Crazy Addams) and Thing is called Dedos 🖐🏼which means Fingers. I guess it make more sense the name of Thing in Spanish, Dont you think? 😉🤚🏻. Besides Lurch is called Largo meaning Large 😄. Is this a parody? I'm not feeling this movie at all. Morticia was so beautiful. The Adams Family movie is one of the best TV to film adaptations ever made. Based off of the beloved television series of the same name, the film follows the odd band of Adams's through a zany tale of mischief and lost memory. The Adams Whamily comes to the big screen with a wham of nostalgia for old fans, and will surely excite newcomers. All of the performances here are excellent, with Angelica Huston and Christopher Lloyd really shining. Christina Ricci is also great, especially for a child actress. Everyone else is superb, as each player brings their roles to life.
The film tells the story of father Gomez, who is visited by an oddball stranger claiming to be his long-lost brother, Fester, played brilliantly by Christopher Lloyd. The imposter Fester has been sent in by his supposed mother to steal a legendary treasure that is stored in the Adams house. This leads to much hilarity ensuing. The production does a great job of recapturing a more modern feel of the TV show, as well as with casting.
Notable scenes include the mamushka dance number, the ginger woman falling in love with Cousin It, Gomez's fantastic sword fight with who I believe was his accountant or attorney, and when the family digs up their loved ones at the end of the film.
In addition, costume choices and set design were both superb. It was great to see a huge set for the family house, and accurate receations and nods to the show.
As for negatives, the Adams Family does include a number of scenes with "stupid humor." These are moments that are ridiculous, but that are meant to be this way. It takes a special person to appreciate these jokes. The filmmakers seemed to want viewers to separate themselves from these moments and have fun with them.
Overall, The Adams Family is a great deal of fun for fans and the uninitiated. I would greatly recommend it to anyone. Cousin It is bae.

I will always love the Addams family, it's so funny. Better than anything on TV now. Wait Finn wolfard is in it? How did I NOT know this?😂. TRUE comedy! WHERE is cousin It. This show aged like fine wine 2019. The Thing - Itself Hilarious :D. Thank Heaven Thing ~ is still normal. I call this movie a desecration.

Truant officer to the daughter of the invisible  man. I would like to see your daddy.   The daughter replies So would I. So adorable how Wednesday lead the truancy officer by the hand. I see why it's free to watch. This show and The Munsters were some of my favorites. The Addams Family may be weird and spooky to some people, but they're really funny and likeable to everyone. ;D.

There is a credit with Jackie coogan on it. My first reaction to seeing this trailer before toy story 4 in July : “ seems like its gonna become a meme but ok ” And here we are... In a perfect world the third Addams Family movie would have starred a still-living Raul Julia and had Tim Curry as a villain rather than the worst Gomez of all time.

So many sitcoms were based on the premise that the husband character dislikes his wife/kids or at least barely tolerates them. I always enjoyed how devoted Gomez was to his children and loving he was to his wife. I love how they love each other to the core😩. I remember watching THE ADDAMS FAMILY as a kid and not being overly impressed with it even then: I preferred the more subtle ghoulish humour of the original '60s TV series. Watching the film again as an adult, I can see that time has not been kind to this outing, with the endless dated early '90s effects work and quickly tiring madcap pace.
It's as if the writers have taken the family members from the original show and plonked them into the middle of a quick-fire comedy. Everything is noisy, brash and over-the-top, and the likes of Raul Julia are frankly quite embarrassing with their endless scenery chewing which grates on the viewer before long. Only Christopher Lloyd and Christina Ricci prove a real fit for their parts, and funnily enough they get all the best gags and one-liners.
Although the overly complicated script has to take its share of responsibility, I think Barry Sonnenfeld's tiresome direction is to blame; remember that this guy is the king of FX-heavy comedies (he later made MEN IN BLACK. Had things been dialled down and delivered in a more mannered and focused way I probably would have enjoyed this a great deal more.
